The mission of IPMM is to create a community of practice, a platform for professional networking, building of people management capability through professional skills development, expert advice, continuous professional development, and sharing of best practices in people management.

IPMM embraces the following values: professionalism, transparency, ethical behaviour and commitment. These values are perfectly in tune with what the Malawi government is currently promoting i.e. hard work, integrity and patriotism.
